About DEIB
The Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria (DEIB) is one of the largest European ICT departments, both for its dimensions and for the quality of its research activity.
Research is the main focus of DEIB, pursued according to the highest international quality standards.
The four department sections related to the PHD in Information Technology cluster consolidated competences in systems and control, computer science and engineering, electronics, and telecommunications.
DEIB mainly supports the courses offered by the the School of Information Engineering, but its members also perform teaching activities in the ICT field for all the other Schools of the Politecnico di Milano.
